How are decals and vinyl lettering different?
Products like window decals, wall decals, floor decals, and car decals are usually printed on a single sheet of adhesive vinyl. This means the entire design is printed and applied as one piece, so it covers the surface as a single graphic.
In contrast, products like vinyl lettering and vehicle lettering are made up of individually cut-out letters or shapes. These are applied using a transfer tape that keeps the pieces aligned during installation. Once applied, the transfer tape is peeled away, leaving only the letters or graphics on the surface.
